William Pullen was born 1961 East Hampshire, England.
Studied Fine Art at Edinburgh University & College of Art, 1979-84.
Received First Class Honours M. A.
William has been working as a professional artist since 1985. He learned the technique of egg tempera painting at college, and has produced a body of work mainly using architectural and landscape subjects. William won a major travelling scholarship to Florence from the Royal Scottish Academy on graduation from college, and first prize in the Hunting Group national art prizes soon afterwards. Since 1985 he has exhibited widely in England, Scotland, France and Germany, notably at the Piccadilly Gallery, Belgrave Gallery ( London & St Ives), Royal Academy Summer Exhibitions and the Royal College of Art in London. He has held one-man exhibitions at Bedales School in Hampshire in 2001 & 2007 and with the Russell Gallery in London in 2006 & 2009.
